Ministries
Several ministries are offered at our parishes. If you are interested in joining a ministry, please contact the person listed, or Fr. Rodney.
Homebound Ministry:First meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Mark's.

The role of the Homebound Ministry is to reach out to people who are homebound and assure them that they remain an important part of our parish and community. The Homebound Ministers go to the homes of parishioners. During this time, the Homebound Ministers visit with the Homebound, pray with them, and present them with the Eucharist.
This ministry is available to any Catholic who is not able to regularly attend church for Mass. It can be for a long term or a short term, such as after surgery or short term illness. If you or someone you know is in need of this ministry, please contact the parish office. If you are interested in becoming a part of this ministry, please contact Marilyn Enderson c/o the parish office, or you may come to the upcoming Homebound Ministry meeting on Sept. 4, at 6:00 p.m. at St Mark's Parish. |
Bereavement Ministry:First meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Mark's.

“Blessed are those who weep and mourn for they shall be comforted”
For many years we have had parishioners give comfort and support to grieving families through volunteering to help at the reception after a funeral. If you are one of those who have been helping and supporting this ministry, or if you are interested in being part of this ministry, please come to the meeting on Oct. 2nd at 6:00 p.m. in Belt. At this meeting, we are going to define the scope of this wonderful ministry and more. For St Mark's Parish, please contact Lori Sivertsen for more information. |
