The gospel tells us again the pressing truth about Jesus as the Bread from Heaven. Jesus said that because He is the one who came down from heaven, people cannot come to the Father except through Him. He who has seen the Father is the way to the Father. Should we say more? Jesus is present with us in the Eucharist. He is present with you and for you. But the question is - "are we present with Him?"
Let us pray for ourselves that we may truly present ourselves before Jesus in the Eucharist to listen to Him and to receive Him worthily. Let us pray for our faith community here at Saint Mark's, St Mary’s and Holy Trinity that as we continue to build a community of love, we may continue to grow in our love and devotion to the Eucharist, the source of our strength and the center of our faith community. Let us make Saint Mark's, St Mary’s and Holy Trinity Parishes a truly Eucharistic community. AMEN.
