Dearest Brothers and Sisters,
Peace and Goodness!
I am still overjoyed at the blessing God has given me to serve this parish of Saint Mark, Holy Trinity and St Mary’s. My heartfelt gratitude goes to His Most Excellency +Michael William Warfel our benevolent bishop and shepherd, for giving me the opportunity to come here in Montana and minister to all of you. As I begin my journey with you here in Saint Mark's and its communities, allow me to lay the first stone - my trust in the providence and mercy of God - yes, this is the first stone that I am laying to the foundation of my journey here in this parish. As a new priest in the diocese of Great Falls-Billings and new in the state of Montana, I have so much to learn. I trust in God's kindness in this new beginning as I open a new chapter in my priestly vocation.
Last week, my homily centered on God's call for me to "stand up and go." Indeed, I stood up and followed the Lord's voice and He brought me here - with you. All I ask of you as your new priest is to always pray for me so that as we begin building this community of love, we may renew our fervor and commitment. Let us come together - united in one spirit of God to celebrate our faith, deepen our love to the Eucharist, to nurture our devotion to the Blessed Mother and strengthen our bond to live in charity. Amen.
